Who is SoundadviceMD?

Hi, my name is John Gourdin and I am the CEO of SoundadviceMD.

I am proud to have served as a financial services professional for over 30 years now. My career began in banking and credit. I evolved into organizational management with several financial services companies, but I always maintained a love for servicing the insurance needs of my clients. 

In 2008, I decided to start my own firm. I began as a sole-practitioner providing first-hand counseling and service to consumers, crafting personalized life and health insurance plans. 

Now as the Principal Agent for SoundadviceMD, I mentor, train, and support over 100 state and federally certified agents in more than 30 states. 

My team provides free education on State, Federal, and private programs to help people reduce their out-of-pocket medical costs and improve the quality of their care. While our medical insurance services are focused on the needs of the Senior population, we also provide Life and Annuity services to all age groups.

We prefer to take an educational approach to consultations. We focus on helping our clients to meet their tangible goals in the areas impacted by their life and health insurance needs. 

Our consultations are available online or over the phone and are ALWAYS FREE. We currently service the vast majority of the United States and will soon have the entire nation covered.

I have been a Baltimore County resident for over 20 years. I served as the Treasurer for the Owings Mills/Newtown Homeowners Association for 5 years. I am also a member of the Baltimore City Chamber of Commerce. 

My wife and I are still residents of Owings Mills and the proud parents of two incredible, adult daughters.
